Shankhpushpi is an indigenous plant used in Ayurveda, an ancient system of Indian Medicine. It is non- toxic and does not have any side effects.Clitoria ternatea L. (Family: Fabaceae) commonly known as ‘Butterfly pea’, a traditional Ayurvedic remedy, has been used for centuries as a memory enhancer, nootropic, antistress, anxiolytic, antidepressant, anticonvulsant, tranquilizing and sedative agent.

How to Grow:

Aparajitha seeds need to be covered with 1/4 inch of soil and kept moist until germination. Germination should take place at about 25C and takes from three to four weeks. Seedlings should be transplanted into a sunny area of the garden at a spacing of around 60cm.As Aparajitha is a climber it will require a trellis for support and it also requires frequent watering.
